Book Page Flower Frame

Today is National Book Day. Yes, I have a calendar that I keep with every random day on it.

So I have a lot of books laying around my house.
Some are good. Other's crap.
Before you judge me for cutting up another book, take a look at your book collection. You know you have some serious crap books that you want to cut up.

What you need:

(1) Crap book
Hot Glue
Scissors
Picture Frame
Pencil

Using a sharp blade, cut out a handful of pages of your book. Draw a 4" x 4" spiral on one of your book pages and close off the end. I used a sharpie in my picture above so you could see it clearly, but you should do this with a pencil so you don't …

Using a sharp blade, cut out a handful of pages of your book. Draw a 4" x 4" spiral on one of your book pages and close off the end. I used a sharpie in my picture above so you could see it clearly, but you should do this with a pencil so you don't have black marker showing through on every flower you make.

It should look like a mini slinky.

Now start rolling from the end down to the middle of the spiral just like you see above.

Now you should you have a little rose. Dab a little hot glue at the base so it all sticks together.

And then one by one, glue them to your picture frame.
