Soft Pull-Apart Garlic Parmesan Turkey Bread Rolls

With Kraft Natural Cheese Parmesan

Homemade Dough Ingredients

4½ cups all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons rapid-rise instant yeast

¼ cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon kosher salt

1½ cups warm milk (110°F)

5 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

1 egg, room temperature

2 tablespoons melted butter (for brushing)

Garlic Parmesan Butter Glaze

8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

6 cloves garlic, finely minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

¼ cup fresh parsley, finely chopped

1½ cups Kraft Natural Cheese Parmesan, divided

Directions

1. Proof the yeast in the warm milk for 5 minutes.

2. Combine 3 cups of flour, the yeast-milk mixture, sugar, salt, butter, and egg in the bowl of the a stand mixer. You can also do this by hand.

3. Using the dough hook, mix on low until the flour is incorporated, scraping down the sides as needed.

4. Increase speed to medium and beat for 2 minutes. Add the remaining 1½ cups of flour and knead for another 2 minutes until a soft, slightly sticky dough forms.

5. Add up to ¼ cup additional flour if necessary. The dough should be soft and pull away from the bowl’s edges, but slightly sticky.

6. Transfer to a lightly greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise for 30 minutes at room temperature.

7. Once risen, punch down the dough and proceed to shape as directed below.

8. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

9. Shape the turkey: Divide the dough into 26 equal pieces (about 43 grams each). Combine four balls to form the body and two balls to form the head. Place the body near the base of the baking sheet and the head ½ inch above the body, leaving room for the bread to expand.

10. Arrange the remaining 20 balls in two rows, fanning the second row out by pinching the dough balls and elongating them just a bit. Cover with a towel and let rise again on the counter.

11. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, parsley, and ½ cup Kraft Natural Cheese Parmesan.

12. Brush the dough generously with half of the Garlic-Parmesan Butter mixture. Bake for 22–26 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.

13. Remove from oven. While still warm, brush with the remaining butter mixture and sprinkle generously with the remaining 1 cup Kraft Parmesan.

14. Garnish with rosemary or sage sprigs and a small pepper “wattle” for a festive centerpiece.
