Homemade Rainbow Oreo Cookies

Seinfeld is one the best shows on television (besides I Love Lucy). I mean, there is just nothing like it. I was just watching the episode with "Assman" ... Kramer gets NY license plates with "Assman" written on them. I literally laugh out loud while watching the show every single time.

Anyway, I just watching that episode and it has absolutely nothing to do with my homemade rainbow Oreos. These are awesome by the way. Amazing. Easy. OMG so yum. You really need to make these for St. Patty's Day or just life in general. Add the different colors or keep them white. Either way, I promise you will looooooove them. Scroll down for the recipe!

Homemade Rainbow Oreo Cookies

Ingredients
Nabisco Chocolate Wafers
1 stick unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup vegetable shortening
3 cups confectioners' sugar, sifted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

*Food Coloring Gels

Directions
1. In a medium bowl, cream the butter and shortening until fluffy. Beat in the confectioners' sugar and vanilla.

2. Separate the filling into different bowls and add desired food coloring gels then spread in between two chocolate wafers.
