A decorative winter-themed charcuterie board styled as a snowy chalet scene with a gingerbread house, cookies, candies, and edible landscaping.

Ingredients

  • 1 gingerbread house from Trader Joe's
  • white wedding cookies
  • mini chocolate chip or sugar cookies
  • white Sugarfina Greek rocks & Champagne gummies
  • yogurt covered raisins
  • yogurt covered pretzels
  • white Fudge Oreos
  • zebra striped caramel popcorn
  • powdered sugar donut holes
  • 1 mini lemon bundt cake from Bristol Farms
  • 1 sour apple gummy ring for wreath
  • 3 red sprinkles for wreath
  • cinnamon sticks for fence
  • coconut
  • powdered sugar for snow
  • rosemary for landscaping
  • thyme for landscaping
  • white icing

Method

  1. Prepare your gingerbread house and place it on one corner of your charcuterie board.
  2. Lay down the pebble pathway in front of your house using white wedding cookies, Sugarfina greek stone candies, yogurt covered raisins, and coconut.
  3. Using a piping bag, pipe a line of icing directly on your charcuterie board in front of the house to make the fence. Place the cinnamon sticks upright in the icing to create the look of the fence.
  4. Gradually start adding the other elements around the board. Place larger items on the edge of the board so candies don't slip off. Use odd numbers of cookies (groups of three or five) for visual appeal.
  5. Add small mounds of icing around the board and place rosemary sprigs upright to create trees. Place smaller rosemary sprigs in between the pebbles as well.
  6. Fill in any gaps with coconut or smaller items so the board looks covered in snow. Dust powdered sugar over the entire board before serving.

Notes

This is a decorative charcuterie board rather than a traditional recipe. Feel free to swap out any ingredients for other winter-themed treats. The arrangement is more important than exact quantities, making this highly customizable based on what you have available.
