Felt Taco Garland

What you need
(1) sheet stiff green felt
(1) sheet stiff red felt
(1) sheet soft brown felt (for the meat)
(1) sheet soft white felt (for the sour cream)
(1) sheet soft bright yellow felt (for the cheese)
(4) sheets dark yellow felt (for the taco shell)
Fabric scissors
Hot glue

Directions
1. Cut your soft yellow (taco shell color) felt in half horizontally so you have two pieces. Fold one of the pieces in half and cut a half circle then unfold so you have one circle. Do the same with remaining pieces. You will be able to get (8) 5” circles out of 4 sheets of 8.5”x11” felt.

2. Open up the taco shell and place two small pieces of brown felt on opposite sides. You don’t need to cover everything with brown felt, because it only shows on the sides. Hot glue it to the inside of your shell. Be sure to use only a small amount of hot glue as the felt is soft and you don't want it to seep through.

3. Cut jagged pieces of green felt and hot glue around the top of the shell. Get creative where you place the green felt. The lettuce should hang out like a real taco.

4. Cut 4-6 red 1" tomato squares for each taco. Hot glue under and above the lettuce.

5. If you wish to add sour cream, cut a small squiggly line of white felt and place it at the top of the taco, peeking out from underneath the shell.

6. Lastly, cut tiny small pieces of cheese. I basically cut 1" slivers. Carefully glue them all over the taco. You can use another type of glue for these tiny pieces if you are worried you will burn yourself with the hot glue.

7. Hot glue all the tacos 6” apart on a piece of string or skip the string and just use double sided tape to attach around your house!
