I made a batch of gingerbread and shortbread cookies and used a leaf cookie cutter (linked at the bottom) to make the leaves.

I did the same with a basic shortbread cookie recipe as well. Make sure to chill the cookies for thirty minutes before baking so they keep their shape.
I layered different herbs around my platter before building my wreath. The greenery makes it more wreath-like. I used thick cheddar slices and the same cookie cutter to make the cheese leaves.
