Antioxidant Chocolates

I have finally done it. A dessert that's actually good for you! Yes, sooooo good for you! This dessert is full of antioxidants. Don't you hear that all the time? Eat dark chocolate - it's full of antioxidants! OK, don't mind if I do.

Ok, so what exactly does that mean? Well basically, antioxidants gobble up free radicals and destructive molecules that are implicated in heart disease and other ailments. Yay! As I gobble this chocolate it's gobbling up destructive molecules! Go me. Oh, and a little fun fact. Just because it's full of antioxidants doesn't mean you should eat all 14. Antioxidant Chocolates

11.5 oz Dark Chocolate (1 bag)
Dried Edamame

1. Heat half of your dark chocolate in a microwave safe bowl at 30 second intervals. Make sure to stir the chocolate in between the intervals. Once completely melted, pour in the rest of the dark chocolate chips and let the chips melt with the heat of the other chocolate. Do not put back into the microwave. This is "tempering".

2. Pour about a half inch of melted chocolate into a non-stick muffin tin and sprinkle with almonds, cranberries, and edamame. Refrigerate until set; about 25 minutes.
