Chipotle Burrito Halloween Costume
What you need
- $2 Field & Stream Reflect foil blanket
- Scissors
- Hot Glue
- Printer paper
- 12"x18" White foam sheets (Sour cream)
- 12"x18" Kelly Green foam sheets (Lettuce)
- 12"x18" Red foam sheets (Tomatoes)
- 12"x18" Light Brown foam sheets (Tortilla)
- 12"x18" Dark brown foam sheets (Meat)
- 12"x18" Yellow foam sheets (Cheese)
- Chipotle logo
- Velcro (optional for reusability)
- Tape or glue gun
Directions
- Unfold foil blanket on flat surface. Cut light brown foam strips and hot glue along edge as tortilla, slightly raised.
- Cut wavy white foam pieces and glue to back of light brown foam for sour cream.
- Cut wavy dark brown foam pieces and glue behind white foam for meat, ensuring colors show through layers.
- Add sharply cut green foam lettuce pieces. Flip foil sheet so glued foam is on back side. Glue square red foam tomato pieces around other colors, weaving between pieces as desired. Cut irregularly for natural burrito appearance.
- Glue final slivers of yellow foam for cheese. Let glue cool completely.
- Wrap foil blanket around child and trim bottom if needed. Tape or glue Chipotle logo to front as foil overlaps. For reusability, hot glue male and female Velcro pieces to edges for easy snap-on wear.
