What you need
- Fake pumpkin
- Spray paint (dark and light colors)
- Spray adhesive
- Glitter (dark and light colors)
- Paint brush
- Mod Podge
Directions
- Start with a fake pumpkin (recommended over real pumpkins for durability and cost-effectiveness with glitter).
- Spray paint the pumpkin and let dry completely.
- For glitter application, use spray adhesive on sections of the pumpkin top before sprinkling with glitter. Work in sections to prevent adhesive from drying before applying glitter.
- For ombre effect, spray darker spray paint first, followed by lighter spray paint on top. Then apply darker glitter first, followed by lighter glitter.
- For polka dot effect, use a paint brush to apply Mod Podge in circular patterns, then sprinkle with glitter.
- Allow all coatings to dry completely.
