How to make a Paper Pumpkin

What you need
- Old book (hardcover or paperback)
- Scissors
- Pen or pencil
- Branch from outside
- Glue gun
Directions
- Gently cut the cover of the book, being careful not to cut the binding.
- Cut away the bottom portion of the cover and set aside.
- Using a pencil, draw a half circle on the pages as close to the edge as possible. Cut along this line on the first page to create a guide.
- Cut the remaining pages along the half circle guide. You can cut multiple pages at once to speed up the process.
- Trim away any uneven pieces to create smooth edges.
- Heat up the glue gun while you fan out and separate the pages of the book as much as possible.
- Glue the first page to the last page of the book. For longer books, you can glue 3-4 pages together to ensure durability.
- Find a stick from outside (thicker works best) and break it to about 4 inches long for the stem.
- Hot glue the stick into the middle of the paper pumpkin.

- Optional: Paint the edges of the paper with gold paint or other decorative colors for extra appeal.
