How to make a Felt Taco Garland

Felt Taco Garland
What you need
- 1 sheet stiff green felt
- 1 sheet stiff red felt
- 1 sheet soft brown felt
- 1 sheet soft white felt
- 1 sheet soft bright yellow felt
- 4 sheets dark yellow felt
- Fabric scissors
- Hot glue
- String or double sided tape
Directions
- Cut dark yellow felt in half horizontally. Fold one piece in half, cut a half circle, unfold to make a circle. Repeat to create 8 circles (5" diameter) from 4 sheets of 8.5"x11" felt.
- Open taco shell and place two small pieces of brown felt on opposite sides inside the shell. Use minimal hot glue to avoid seepage through soft felt.
- Cut jagged pieces of green felt and hot glue around the top of shell to resemble lettuce hanging out naturally.
- Cut 4-6 red 1" tomato squares for each taco and hot glue under and above the lettuce.
- Optional: Cut small squiggly line of white felt for sour cream and place at top, peeking from under shell.
- Cut tiny 1" cheese slivers and glue all over the taco. Consider using different glue for tiny pieces to avoid burns.
- Attach all tacos 6" apart on string with hot glue, or use double sided tape to attach around house.
