Glitter Dipped Mason Jars
What you need
- Krylon Spray Paint (Glossy Black and Metallic Gold & Silver)
- Glossy Mod Podge
- Paint Brush (1")
- Recollections or Martha Stewart Glitter
- Mason jars
- Cardboard
Directions
- Turn jar upside down on cardboard and spray with paint, standing at least 12" away. Don't worry if not totally covered. Let dry then spray again.
- Let dry for 1 hour in cold weather or 30 minutes in hot weather.
- Once dry, use paint brush to apply Mod Podge to bottom portion of jar. Sprinkle with glitter, working in sections so glue doesn't dry. Optional: seal with another coat of Mod Podge, though this reduces the glittery gleam. Tips: For a perfect straight line, lay jar on table and place paper over it to guide application. Do not use tape as it will pull off spray paint. These are decorative only - be careful as spray paint chips if scratched and do not get the outside wet.
