What you need

Directions

Select a special hardcover book such as a love poem book, wedding book, journal, or cookbook.
Choose a starting page about 1/3 of the way through the book or a page of significance.
Use a Martha Stewart magnetic punch to create a hole in the selected page. Measure from top and bottom to ensure consistent placement on subsequent pages.
Continue punching every other page until you have a hole approximately 1 inch deep (deep enough to fit the rings). You can only punch 3 pages at a time with the punch.
Alternative: Use an X acto knife if you don't have a punch.
Cover the book with moss using spray adhesive. Spray the book cover and spine, then wrap with moss. Repeat on the back of the book.
Tie ribbon through the hole in the pages.
Attach the rings to the ribbon. The ring bearer will unwrap the ribbon and remove the rings.
The book can be kept by the couple as a keepsake or have guests sign the pages after the wedding.
