DIY Peter Pan Collar Necklace
What you need
- 8.5" x 11" sheet of soft felt
- Tacky Glue
- Beads, Pearls, or Sequins
- Silk Ribbon or something nice
- Scissors
- Needle and thread (optional)
Directions
- Download and print the Peter Pan Collar Template, then trace it onto your felt. Black felt is recommended as it makes beads pop. Cut out the collar shape. You can also use leather, fabric, or cotton - something soft works best.
- Apply a generous amount of tacky glue over a portion of the surface and quickly add beads. Work in sections since glue absorbs into fabric.
- Continue adding glue and beads until the necklace is completely covered.
- Allow to dry for 24 hours.
- Flip the collar over and hand stitch silk ribbon strands to the edges of the collar. You can also use tacky glue, but hand stitching provides extra strength.
