What you need
- 8 1/2" x 11" piece of Leather or fabric
- 7" zipper (any color)
- Hot Glue
- Fabric adhesive (optional alternative to hot glue)
Directions
- Start with an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of leather or fabric with the showcase side facing down.
- Fold the sheet in half and lay your 7" zipper in front of the clutch.
- Apply hot glue or fabric adhesive across the whole bottom half of the zipper.
- Press the leather firmly down to the glue, running your finger across to ensure it sticks completely.
- Apply glue to the other side of the zipper and fold the leather to attach to the other side.
- Let dry completely, pressing firmly along the entire zipper length.
- Apply glue to both sides of the clutch and press the leather edges together firmly.
- Peel off any excess glue once dry.
- For two-toned variations, use different fabrics or leather pieces and glue them in the same manner, positioning them before folding the clutch closed.

- Optional: Add decorative strips (like gold leather) to the front of the pouch.
