DIY Lace Denim Shorts
What you need
- 1 pair of denim shorts
- 1 lace doily (8-10 inches)
- Fabric scissors
- Needle and thread or fabric glue
Directions
- Using fabric scissors, cut up the sides of your shorts.
- Cut up the seam of your shorts about 2 inches.
- Cut on the sides of the seam to make a triangle shape.
- Cut a triangle from the lace doily to fit your triangle on the shorts with slight overlap.
- Apply the lace doily triangle to the sides of the shorts using either fabric glue or needle and thread. NOTE: Sewing the doily on lasts longer than fabric glue, though glue is quicker and still effective.
