Cake Slice Party Invitations
What you need
- Car Sponges
- Serrated Knife (or electric Knife)
- Scissors
- Collage Clay
- Hot glue
- Mini 1/2" styrofoam balls
- Red Paint
- Green Paint
- Mod Melts and mini glue gun
- Cutting board
Directions
- Lay car sponge on cutting board.
- Using serrated knife, cut sponge on a bias lengthwise to create two cake slices.
- Cut off about 1.5 inches from the end of each slice to make it look like a perfect slice.
- Make a groove in the center of each slice by gently cutting two parallel lines.
- Using scissors, cut out a small portion of sponge from the groove.
- Optional: spray paint sponge dark brown to look like chocolate cake.
- Fill groove with collage clay using piping bag.
- Smooth frosting with finger.
- Stand slice upright and pipe collage clay on top and sides.

- Let dry 2 hours to touch, 24 hours to completely dry.

- Attach invitation to back.

- Can be used for birthdays, baby showers, Valentine's Day, and other occasions.
