What you need
- Clothespins
- Paint
- Tulle or ribbon or tissue paper
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
- Glitter ribbon (optional)
- Rhinestones and props (optional)
Directions
- Basic Couple: Paint the clothespin bodies, cut tulle to desired size, gather it together, and hot glue to the clothespin for a dress. Fancy Couple with Heart Dress: Paint bodies, cut glitter ribbon into different sized hearts, hot glue heart ends to the wood clothespin creating a ruffled effect by gluing upside down hearts. Newlyweds: Paint bodies, use white tissue paper for the dress and veil, hot glue to clothespin. Tips: You can use any fabric scraps, ribbon, paper, or even Kleenex for the clothing. Add rhinestones and props for extra embellishment. These work well as cupcake toppers, paper clips, or desk decorations.
