Candy Corn Halloween Hats
What you need
- Paper cones
- Orange paint
- Yellow paint
- Paintbrush
- Pencil (optional)
- Needle or thin nail
- Elastic string
- Scissors
Directions
- Paint the paper cones with orange and yellow paint to resemble candy corn. You can eyeball the design or use a pencil to draw a straight line around the hat as a guide. Leave the white part of the cone unpainted.
- Allow the paint to completely dry.
- Use a needle or thin nail to poke holes on both sides of the hat where the elastic string will thread through.
- Measure the wearer's head and thread elastic string through both holes.
- Tie knots on both sides to secure the string and trim any excess for a neat appearance.
- Hats are ready to wear for Halloween!
