Easter Bunny Clothespin Couple
What you need
- Wood clothespin
- Pastel acrylic paint
- Black acrylic paint
- White acrylic paint
- Hot glue gun
- Hot glue
- Construction paper
- Scissors
- Wire ribbon or cotton for tail
- Ribbon for dress (optional)
Directions
- Cut out small bunny ears (4 total) and 2 small pieces of wire ribbon or cotton for tails from construction paper.
- Paint one half of the clothespin with your first chosen color (e.g., pink) and one set of ears. Once dry, paint a small white section in the middle of the ears.
- Paint the other half of the clothespin with a second color and the remaining ears. Add white sections to the middle once dry.
- Roll ribbon or cotton pieces into small balls and hot glue one to the back of each bunny half as a tail. Glue ears to the back of bunny heads with white strip facing in. Slightly roll ears outward or forward for a cuter, floppy look.
- Use black paint to make small eyes for each bunny.
Optional: Cut dress pieces from ribbon to fit each side and back of the bunny. Glue sides first, then back piece, overlapping slightly. Paint boy bunny clothes with pastel paint instead.
