Transform plastic animals with spray paint and attach them to wooden skewers to create fancy, reusable drink stirrers.

Animal Drink Stir Sticks
What you need
- Plastic animals from the craft store
- Colorful glossy spray paint
- Wooden skewers
- Hot glue
- Cardboard or newspaper
Directions
- Lay down cardboard or newspaper as a work surface. Arrange plastic animals on their sides a couple inches apart.
- Spray paint one side of each animal from about 10 inches away. Let dry completely (about 5 minutes).
- Flip animals over and spray paint the other side. Let dry completely (about 5 minutes).
- Using hot glue, apply a dab of glue on the belly (underneath) of each animal.
- Immediately press a wooden skewer into the animal and hold steady until dry (about 1 minute).
- The drink stirrers are now complete and ready to use. If using wooden skewers and wanting to reuse the animals, simply pop them off before discarding the used skewers and re-attach to new skewers later.
