DIY Studded Leather Clutch
What you need
- (100) 3/8" black spike screws
- 1 leather clutch
- X-acto knife
- Chalk
- Ruler
- Piece of cardboard
Directions
- Using a ruler and chalk, mark one entire side of your clutch every half inch with tiny chalk dots to indicate stud placement. You can mark a pattern, stud only half the clutch, or cover the entire side as desired.
- Unzip the clutch and place a piece of cardboard inside to prevent the studs from poking through both layers of leather.
- Gently place the tip of the X-acto knife on the leather and make a small slit. Push the stud through the slit and screw on the back. Repeat with all remaining studs until complete.
