Popcorn Pumpkin
What you need
- 9" White faux pumpkin
- Red paint
- Red construction paper
- White construction paper
- Red sticker letters
- Air-popped plain popcorn
- Hot glue
- Spray adhesive
Directions
- Paint every other groove of the pumpkin with red paint to create the popcorn container effect. Let dry completely.
- Using air-popped popcorn with no oil, butter, or salt, hot glue each popped kernel to the top stem and surrounding area. For long-term storage, shellac or varnish the finished pumpkin to prevent ant damage.
- Cut a rectangle from red construction paper and a smaller rectangle from white construction paper. Use spray adhesive to attach the white rectangle to the red rectangle. Apply red sticker letters to the white rectangle and attach the sign to the pumpkin with hot glue. Alternatively, write "Popcorn" with a marker instead of using stickers.
