Caprese Wreath

Caprese Wreath 🌿 because life is too short not to celebrate with cheese. Perfect for a large gathering. You can also make a smaller version. The key to making a beautiful Caprese wreath is to double down on the basil. Load up or steal it from your neighbor’s garden. Just kidding - ask. You want a beautiful bed of basil. Top it with Mozzarella and tomatoes. Drizzle with quality olive oil, @maldonsalt flake salt, and black pepper. Serve balsamic on the side. Scroll down for the recipe.

Olive oil and natural solid brass platter are both sold in our store: www.dayeandco.com

Ingredients (For a 14-16” platter)

(1) 4oz box of @kentercanyonfarms basil

(2) 8oz containers of @belgioiosocheese Fresh Mozzarella Ciliengine Cheese

(2) pints or 4 cups organic cherry tomatoes

Directions

  1. Place a small bowl in the center of your platter and layer your basil leaves around the edge of your bowl and around the platter. Fill the platter with basil.

  2. Layer your tomatoes. You can leave some whole and halve others. The variation gives the wreath dimension.

  3. Next layer your cheese.

  4. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with flake salt and ground pepper.
